ABOUT ME

Well, hello there! I've just been sitting for about 20 minutes trying to come up with the best opening line for my short description and failed miserably as my creativity level's just hit the bottom of Mariana Trench, literally. So yeah, that's that.
I'm a quite reserved and quiet Pole, living in Spain at the moment and trying to figure out what to do after finishing University.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting new people even though it may appear that at first I'm somehow reticent.
The whole process of getting to know a stranger is surprisingly rich and stimulating, having in mind all the knowledge, experiences, stories and good vibes we can exchange.

Interests

There are so many things in this world worth discovering and so little time to do so.
My main interest lies in languages and everything that concerns them (so yeah, I've just narrowed it to "everything"). The best way to know a language is to discover it through its literature, music, history and... yes, its people, too. ;)
I'm particulary interested in etymology. So yeah, I like looking for a λόγος of every ἔτυμον.

Music, Movies, and Books

It's somehow hard to describe the genre of music I listen to but let me quote some of the comments my friends and family gave after sharing my favourite tracks with them:
"It sounds like something that would be played at a funeral."
"Why is it so sad and depressing? Are you ok?"
"Turn that mournful music down and put some good old reggaeton!"

My favourite artists are Olafur Arnalds, Damien Rice, Keaton Henson, Monsieur Chopin and Hildegard von Bingen.
However, I sometimes get the urge for listening to some soviet disco, orthodox choir, cpop and Cher.
