To get completely and utterly lost in others cultures. I'm off...
Best to read the whole thing, just incase of surprises
Life, oh Life, you sultry minx you... I've been traveling pretty consistently for about 6 years now, but my current journey of traveling has been more evolutionary and revolutionary than I could ever have anticipated. Life is bloody madness and wonders all wrapped into one glorious kaleidoscopic mishmash! Right now, I'm just grounding myself in the abundance of love, beauty and art that surround each moment and each person I meet, and throwing myself full-force back into the vivacious, vivid whirlwind of this crazy crucible we call Life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Waking up on the floor of a strange land, walking on vast and changing 'scapes, exchanging conversations with people who'd never, ever have had the chance to meet before, and having my eyes exquisitely opened again and again. We all know why we're on here. It's extraordinary.
Nature and exploration. Hiking, camping, getting covered in mud and getting wild - if you know places to get off the beaten track, take me. There's a lot to be said for costumes and fancy dress, particularly if we're out in the Nevada desert and there's a giant man on fire. Good coffee, local food... street storytellers, fire jugglers, jazz and live music.
STORIES!! Bahhflabbertigibbits :) spin me a yarn and I'm tickled.
I'm a very, very (un)prepared hitchhiker. I try, I promise! As almost every person who has hosted me knows, my visits are subject to the terms and conditions of me being a complete and utter idiot, but fortunately all my hosts have been incredible! So all is well.
I'm also a table-diver/dumpster-diver... if this embarrasses you, I promise to walk 20 yards behind you at all times, but I cannot be held responsible for the unavoidable fact that now I feel like I'm in high-stakes espionage, you're the target, and the chase is ON...!!! Events that follow may get out of hand.
I'm part of the Eat A Kiwi Whole Society. I have no aversion to hairy skin, and think we should all just be a little bit more open minded. They're altogether too tasty not to eat the entire thing and if you disagree I honestly don't know how we're going to be friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
Everything, anything: I've got a list growing from each person I meet and one day... one day I'll read them.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I hitchhiked solo overland from England to South Africa, aged 19.
I threw myself off Victoria Falls bridge attached to a glorified elastic band. Highly recommended.
I joined a street fire circus as their stunt body whilst living on a nudist beach in Crimea, Ukraine.
... and got my cheek singed by a fire ball. I jest not, but you have to guess which cheek.
Witnessing the kindness of people, everywhere I've been: it breaks and heals my heart in exactly the same moment.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach me the harmonica, and I'll likely marry you/steal you. Both if you'll allow it.
I love the weird obscurities and passions of people, and a long time ago started making a collection of the small things that make people happy. It's a long list, and I've learnt you guys are freaking weird. I love it. Add to my collection?
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories :) although no one seems to believe them these days! And hitching advice, if you want to join the family!
