CURRENT MISSION

To be away from home for as long as I can. I am travelling with my guitar hoping to write more songs for the band I left at home.

ABOUT ME

I left home in May 2011 with 2 of my best friends. Now only one remains. Alanna and I will be travelling together for the rest of our time in Europe. I have my guitar with me and have never regretted bringing the extra baggage. Except when the crap airlines make me pay more for it. Never fly with Easyjet.
I am in a band at home, we have a violin, cello and I play guitar and sing. I miss the band but Europe was calling me so we had to put it on hold for a while.
I resigned both jobs at home, with both saying I could return when I got back. I am very lucky for that. My main job was looking after children aged between 6 and 16 all from disadvantaged backgrounds. Many are from Sudan who had to flee with their families to Egypt where they then sought asylum in Melbourne, Australia. I love it so much but I am hoping to get to Africa at some point of my travels just to tell the kids at home that I have been..even if it was just Morocco.
