PHILOSOPHY

I think most would find me to be an agreeable personality. I can't stay I adhere to any definable, all-encompassing philosophy or a singular moral attitude. I try my best to be respectful in an excessively narcissistic world where too often an apology is seen as a weakness. Maybe I'm just old-fashioned but I prefer maintaining a semblance of gentlemanly composure which some can misinterpret as shyness or tenseness. In reality It's just me trying to be nice. Feel free to slap me across the face and demand I lighten up. I am a spiritual person though I mostly keep to myself (most of my friends are Atheists and they can put up with me if that's any consolation)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Admittedly I've taken a lot more than I've given with the whole couchsurfing experience, primarily due to the lack of space I have to host people in Scotland. Nevertheless I try and show people around who have already found a place to stay or failing that, directing them to fellow couch-surfers with space and time available.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've Couchsurfed in Eastern Europe and Asia minor before, both very enjoyable experiences

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On the line from Budapest to Sarajevo, the train came to a stop sometime after entering the Bosnian federation. The rain started coming down and out of no where, a massive hailstorm decended upon us. Each stone was the size of a golf ball and they were literally denting the carriage.
