Overview
About Me
Born and raised in P.R. China, attended graduate schools in USA, Finland and Norway, now living in Tallinn, Estonia. A mellow sort of guy with a very good sense of humor. I studied civil engineering and creative sustainability, but also have a broad interest in architecture and history and many more. My previous study and project experience has also brought me to some places in the world that I never imagined I would get a chance to visit in my life, such as Uttar Pradesh of India, Dar es Salaam of Tanzania, and Spitzbergen of Svalbard. Having lived in so many places in the world, I look forward to going to more amazing places, and hopefully not just visit, but stay there for a while, and live like a local. Some people stay in the same area or country for almost their whole life, living a similar lifestyle, but for me, a change in life every once in a while makes me feel like I'm living a new life, almost like in another life, and I feel lucky to experience different lives in a single life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To make new friends, who usually have amazing stories to share, which can in return enlighten me, broaden my view, and give me new perspectives, and... of course, meeting local people can be exciting and fun, because I believe the best way to really get to know a place is to talk to, or even better, explore the place with the locals.
