ABOUT ME

So I was born in 1988 under Aries sign in Lithuania. lived there for most of my life and I love the country. When I was 8 I trained Taekwondo for 4 years and at the age of 12 decided to start playing basketball. 14 got into IT, started designing and coding websites (self taught), attended several courses and learned more stuff. I used to be a member of organisation called 'Internation Falcon Movement' (similar to scouts), attended loads of camps, visited many countries with this organisation, made loads of good friends.
Graduated Kaunas Technology University - mass media technologies.
After graduation I went to Norway for summer job - lived and worked as dish washer guy in Gol (PERS hotel). Became a professional dish washer and in 2011 November (at the age 23) I moved to London to find similar job, but no one wanted me...so got an IT position as Digital Designer (and coder, and photographer and film maker).

I really love basketball, music, fishing, digital design, outdoors, hiking, exploring, sports, gym, healthy lifestyle

PHILOSOPHY

my moto:

WE LIVE ONLY ONCE. ENJOY IT

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe it's one of the best ways to find new friends, see different personalities of people you meet.

Couchsurfing connects the world. Once you surf, you want to host and meet people, hear their stories. There are loads of amazing people out there

Interests

Well, first of all I love sports. I can learn anything quickly and I'm very competitive, some friends are afraid of me when I turn on my competitiveness.. :D

Basketball will always be passion of my life, but recently learned how to play tennis - so I play that when I get a chance :)

Chess - also one of my favourite 'sports'.

Can't live without music or movies. Although I don't have TV and don't watch it. Recently became 'American Dad' fan... Couchsurfing friend from Las Vegas hooked me up on this

MOVIES

I really like movies, not a huge Sci-Fi fan, prefer true story stuff, but here's a list of some of my favs: Focus, Wild, Mad Max, Wild Tales, American History X, St. Vincent, Interstellar, The Green Mile, Into the wild, Captain Philips, Gran Torino, Dallas Buyers Club, The Shawshank Redemption, 300, The Grand Budapest Hotle, Man on Fire, Untouchable, Ted, Django, Get him to the greek, The Hangover, The Wolf of wallstreet, Boyhood, The Imitation game, I Origins and more...

2017 update. Would recommend watching these: Mr Church, The Founder, Captain Fantastic, Sing Street, Deadpool, Eddie the Eagle, Legend, The Handmaiden

MUSIC

probably house and electro, but I listen to mostly everything, really depends on the mood.
Current favourite songs (some are old) I would listen for days:

Bonobo - Kong; Foster the people - pumped up kicks; Actic Monkeys - do I wanna know?; Kavinsky - Nightcall; Michael Calfan - Brothers, Dolly Parton - Jolene (Kokenn remix); Kungs vs Cookin' on 3 burners - This Girl; Macklemore - and we danced; Mike Posner - I took a pill in ibiza; G-Eazy x Bebe Rexha - Me, Myself & I;

2017 update (new favs): Ofenbach - Be Mine; Bakermat - Baby; Burak Yeter - Tuesday; Infinity Ink - Full Capacity; ZHU - Money; Parov Stelar - All night; Sunset Child ft. Charlz - Chew Candy;
....

I also fan of old good songs, I could listen to 'Queen' all day. Red Hot Chili Peppers are amazing, read a book about Anthony Kiedis.
