About Me

I’m now a freelance English teacher in Ho Chi Minh City and also an outgoing university student. I am easily to crush on a language 🤣

Here are some hashtags about me:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was inspired by a story of an atheistic Vietnamese woman (also a lecturer) travelling around Middle East by her own feet. She was alone but never lonely with the help of a lot of surfers around the world.

I’d love to be a part of their traveling stories and I really appreciate those travelers who are always energetic, courageous and eager for exploring our beautiful planet.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Indie, ballad, funk and classical music. Sometimes, I like catchy pop songs to boost my energy. In my trip, I often play my chilled-out music playlists with a small bluetooth speakers 🤪🤪

I am a nerd and also a movie fan. I am interested in sci-fi, romantic and horror movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The definition of “amazing” can be varied by different people. I regard something as “amazing” when I fully enjoy the moments of what I do.

By the way, I used to travel from the South to the North of Vietnam by car and stopped in some tourist spots along the road 🤣🤣

I often travel around many provinces in Southern Vietnam by my motorcycle and I feel like a true adventurer when I am on bike (maybe just because of the crazy and chaotic traffic here 🤣)

It seems nothing to many experienced travelers but I spent 2 months volunteering in Indonesia and of course traveling around this amazing country, which has very beautiful landscapes and diverse cultures.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m a native Vietnamese speaker so that I can teach you Vietnamese (if you want). I can also teach English for under intermediate students.

I can share everything about my home country and if you like to discuss something like “Do you believe in ghost?” or, “What is the defition of love?”, it turns out to be a match! 🤣

I love listening to people’s perspectives of life since I can learn lots of things from their stories and journey. By this I can change the way I’m thinking (and sometimes the way others think).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I think I could be a good listener (and talker sometimes). I also can share about my country and the countries I visited. I also can cook some Vietnamese dishes (in my ability because I am not a chef) 🤣🤣

Countries I’ve Visited

Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
