ABOUT ME

I have traveled (for pleasure) perhaps more than all the other graduate students in my laboratory, combined. But I still submitted my dissertation on time (just about)! I guess we have different priorities in life ;) I love seeing and doing new things and meeting interesting people!

Life is short. Don't waste it on people/ things that don't mean anything to you.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Diving with thresher sharks, hammerheads and a tornado of sardines in the Philippines, a school of manta in Komodo, a shoal of nurse sharks in the Maldives, a thousand barracuda in Sipadan. Snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef. Sunset yoga on the beaches of Goa, India. Hiking in Yosemite, the Grand Canyon, Machu Picchu, the Spanish Pyrenees and the Scottish Highlands. Wandering around medieval German and Roman villages. Experiencing the force of the Iguazu Falls. Glacier trekking in Patagonia. Paragliding over the Sacred Valley in Peru. Fishing for piranhas in the Amazon. Climbing the pyramids of Teotihuacan, Mexico City. The list goes on - and more will be added!
