HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by contributing time, effort and skill to the needs of others. Sometimes it is to help them learn about them self or explore the world and what it has to offer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met great people while couch surfing. A lady from France came to visit and when I went to France, I stayed with her. It was a wonderful experience.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I have done so many amazing things that it would be hard to think of them all.

Here are a few:

Backpacked 4 islands in Hawaii & the Appalachian Trail,
Kayaked the Shenandoah River,
Raised a quarter million dollars by creating Cancer Quilts, with the help of Kids with Cancer, for the American Cancer Society,
Helped create the first micro-surgical laser (no, I have no money from it),
Drive an Art Car around America,
Survived cancer.
I will stop there. It is hurting my brain. Ha Ha

I love to learn and share stories.

Racking up as many "Firsts" as I can manage. You know . . . like your first kiss, but I am long past that one.

I take locals to places that they have never visited in their own home town. It is surprising how much we learn from each other.
