Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is a magical feeling to connect with someone from another part of the world with almost zero shared background, and i am here to do just that. I hope for my travels to be as authentic as possible, to live like a local and eat all the best food!!!! I have always wanted to be a part of the CS community but have never got round to it..well HERE I AM!! Please be kind to this newbie :-)

Interests

I love most things outdoorsy; i like to hike, kayak, go camping and be totally surrounded by nature. I am terrified of the deep sea but dream of picking up diving one day. I enjoy coffee, theatre, films, concerts, and above all good company!! Sense of humor would be a huge plus!!

Music, Movies, and Books

The Sound of Music remains my all time favorite..watched it loads while growing up and it gets me every time...... I also love Wes Anderson's films and perfect aesthetics, anything by Christopher Nolan for a good old mindf, and movies about food ie Little Forest!! Am slowly exploring Hayao Miyazaki's amazing works too.

I love reading but sadly don't do it enough (it has a permanent spot in my yearly resolutions). My favorite book would be The Book Thief by Markus Zusak and anything by Khaled Hosseini, Gillian Flynn and Amanda Lee Koe.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I enjoy talking (too much), so I am always up for a good conversation about anything! Would love to share about my family, culture, languages and life stories.

I am unable to host now as i have a big family, and it gets pretty crowded. When I get my own place (hopefully soon) i will be happy to host!! I value all my friendships and am a collector of good conversations..if our paths ever cross again I will be more than willing to offer kind hospitality!
