我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Walking up this mountain (b/c who needs a cable-car?), HuaShan, near Xi'an in China. I'd heard it was strongly featured in Chinese tales as a mountain people climbed as a test, and couldn't see what the big deal was. Until I noticed the small, regular indents in the rock face next to what I though was an old, old staircase.

Best moments worth repeating in kitten raising: the change from pudgy baby walk to kitten walk. Then pounce. The jump, miss, and grasp a cloth on the way down. Ooops.
