I am a straight, divorced guy, in my early 40s but don't know how I got here so fast. I still feel like I'm in my 20s. I like to hike and stay active, but also like to drink beer and eat burgers...so it's a balancing act. I am very easy going, friendly, non-judgemental, and just looking to meet new people and make new friends. I love to laugh, listen to interesting life experiences, and find fun things to do. I've been to many places in the United States and
few outside the United States, had many wild and wonderful experiences and I've seen amazing sites, but the thing that I have often realized is that no matter what it is you are doing...it's always better with friends!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

My brother and I went on a roadtrip recently and I was finally able to try out couchsurfing. My brother has been an avid couchsurfer over the years, but this was my first experience with it. It turned out to be a really great experience. We were hosted by a really layed back cool guy who is exactly the kind of person I would be great friends with if given the chance. I figure not every experience will be as great as that first one, but if the personalities of the people who are doing this are about the same as mine, then I may have found my tribe.
