About Me

I'm a computer science engineer based in Lille, recently back from Valencia (Spain) where I passed three awesome years!
I'm a bottomless pit of energy, but sometimes I like to peacefully rest under the sun lied on grass listening to good music. I would say I'm open minded, but hey, on this platform who isn't ? I like to share stories and long discussions with new people. If there is beer during this process, it's even better.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To help people in need or be helped, and by doing it discover new cultures and stories. Though I don't use Couchsurfing a lot, but I try to go there more often since I'm back from Spain.

Interests

I like to escape, evade and be lost in stunning places or worlds (hello LARPs).

Music, Movies, and Books

Edgar Wright movies are the most hilarious. Tarantino's are just... marvellous, and the Lord Of The Ring trilogy (movies) is my favorite geek reference.

I read mainly science-fiction and fantasy novels (La nuit des Temps, René Barjavel, the perfect book). And now I'm reading... precisely I'm hardly waiting the next book of the The Gentleman Bastards by Scott Lynch.

What's my favorite music groups ? Metallica, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Elvis Presley, Rage Against The Machine... I confess, I have a little preference for good (old) rock, rock'n roll, metal... but I also like some good rap, good electronic music, and songs of the 80's. Yes, I'm quite a fan boy of music !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A 47 days trip in Japan, hiking and hitchhiking. 47 days and a loooot of kilometers through the south of Japan. It was a fantastic experience, and people in Japan is extremely welcoming... and if you have the chance to travel with someone who speak Japanese, it's even better.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good stories, joy, fun and a soft touch of craziness... and good beer of course !
