ABOUT ME

I'm currently spending a semester in Amsterdam studying Gender and Sexuality at the University here. My activist work back at home centers around Feminist and Queer politics so I'm excited to expand my horizons here. I like to go out and meet new people and I'm fond of every type of place from a local bar to a large club. Mainly people are my passion and I love hearing others stories and sharing my own as well.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm all about meeting and getting to know new people, as long as someone has something interesting to say, I'm interested in hearing it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just joined this website and moved here so I don't have much experience with this, but the idea of a global community willing to offer people a place to rest is really appealing to me on several levels. I think it builds trust, tolerance, and a way for people to see the world in a cheap (and efficient) manner.

Interests

English Literature, books Ive enjoyed most in my life: White Teeth Zadie Smith, Maurice E.M. Forster, The Hours Micheal Cunningham, and a classic, the Great Gatsby by Fitzgerald. I also love live music and my location in the States near Austin is suited to that interst. Favorites include: Cut Copy, Hot Chip, Pet Shop Boys, M.I.A., Justice, Uffie, MSTKRFT, and many more
