ABOUT ME

In short, I think my life is this one big mission to figure out how to live in a state of love at all times, and in all places. I guess you could call that my "spiritual journey." Everything I do, plan, or dream about are ways to help me figure out the mystery of life, and experience it in a bigger way. This is starting to sound pretty far-out, so let me reel it back in haha... I LOVE LIFE. I love enjoying people, places, food, music, conversation, adventure, outdoors, movement, and culture! One of the greatest feelings to me is eating something new, in a place I've never been, with someone I've just met. Yoga is a huge part of my life, and so is exploring what we call "the red path", or indigenous living and re-harmonizing with the Earth. Simultaneously, I find enlightenment in a bottle of wine, some good cheese, and open-hearted conversation. I'm just trying to live honestly, humbly, and always with a smile on my face :-) Starting to understand me yet?

PHILOSOPHY

Respect the individual path, explore your own heart, live in a state of gratitude, send out only bliss and receive only bliss. Accept gifts, listen to guidance, love the present.... And never lose touch with your family!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Got interested in CS because my bro hosted some amazing people who I became friends with. When I got my own place, I created a profile on here. I've only hosted a few people, as I stay pretty busy with my own guests and life, but those that I have hosted are amazing, beautiful people. Two thumbs up for Couchsurfing!

Intereses

Yoga, Firedancing, outdoor explorations, live music, dancing, jamming out, singing, the red road, ancestors, native culture, plants, oriental medicine, energy healing, anything to do with spirituality, food & cooking, wine, the beach, raiding people's ipods, chilling!

Algo increíble que he hecho

A couple of weeks ago, I was exploring around the deserts outside of Teotihuican, Mexico with some locals. We watched the sun setting over fields of cactus and sand, and discovered some ancient underground caves that used to be exit routes from the temples. Then I watched the last full moon of 2011 rise over the Temple of The Moon....glorious.

There's many moments, but this one was the most recent memory :)

Enseña, aprende, comparte

Yoga- been practicing for about 10 years, can teach pretty well and also enjoy the breathwork and meditation branches of the practice... but I love a good sweaty class too.
Red path- on this road for about 3 years, learning from many beautiful teachers. It's basically about learning how to pray, be present, discover love, and live in harmony with yourself, your tribe, and the earth. Aho!
Esoteric- Have stuck my toes in the waters of crystals, energy healing, tarot cards, etc. Love to learn more and share whatever I know as well.
Poi- I spin fire but am a novice....would love to learn/share!
Also want to practice my Spanish more, poi dance or other expressive arts, anything creative.... I am an open book, teach me! :)
