ABOUT ME

I love food. One of my favourite activities is going out to eat with friends at new restaurants. There is nothing better than good company combined with good food and wine!
I love to travel. Take-off is my favourite part of flying, it makes me giddy thinking about where I will be in a couple (or 15+) hours. I was lucky enough to travel often with my family while I was growing up. We lived in Hong Kong and later the Philippines before moving to the U.S. and we were able to visit many countries in Asia. I feel a strong connection and fascination with Asian culture. Each time I visit, especially in China, I feel like I am home.
I used to be painfully shy, but I am continuing to grow out of it. I like to get out of my comfort zone, challenge myself to meet new people. It is such a rewarding experience to get to know someone new, where they came from, what they want to do, what they looked like as babies, whatever!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to CS, but I have friends who have surfed and hosted surfers. I want to surf couches and eventually (when I get my own place) get a big comfy couch for travelers to dream on.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only a little, but it has been a wonderful experience so far!

I have enjoyed many books, movies, and songs. To name one book, Lolita. Movie, The Princess Bride. Song, Upward Over the Mountain by Iron and Wine.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I saw a sunrise, moon setting, and stars all in one 360 degree turn.

I swam in the ocean with a baby elephant named Rara.

Danced on the rocks and went swimming in Lake Powell, naked, in the moonlight, with my best friend since birth and my sister.

Fell in love.

Survived white water rafting down the Colorado River.

Just today I was able to hold Crow pose in yoga for more than 5 seconds. Amazing!
