I grew up in Brooklyn, NY and I'm currently attending school in Columbia, MO. I'm an aspiring journalist and enjoy writing and reading the news. I also enjoy cooking, cycling, movies, sports (playing, watching, discussing) and music (listening, playing [piano, saxophone, banjo]).

I think traveling is a hugely educational and fun thing for a person to do and that it should be within everybody's budget. I see Couchsurfing as a way to make travel more affordable, in addition to giving people an opportunity to make connections they may not have made otherwise.
