ABOUT ME

Hi folks! I'm Quint, 29 years old and I live in Amsterdam. Music is a big hobby of mine, I play the drums and piano. I study Philosophy in Amsterdam, starting a master next year. I love reading. I’m also into Buddhism and meditation.

I’m an easy-going guy and I love meeting new people! I’m very interested in learning about other people’s lives.

Yeah I love philosophy, but then again thinking is also a bit overrated! Nourish the senses. Be present with your whole body. Don’t suppress anything.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted some people, and a 10 years ago I made a hitch hiking trip through Europe, during which I surfed a lot of couches. Right now it’s the first time since a very long time that I’m on the road again and I’m enjoying every second of it!

Interesses

Listening to music and playing it, going to concerts, body percussion, play pingpong, football, running, spending time on a bench on a beautiful spot in the city, partying, swimming in the Amstel (the river that flows through Amsterdam), sitting on my balcony enjoying the sky, playing games, history, politics. I also like linguistics, language is such a beautiful thing.
