Hi everyone,

So my name is Qutayba, 28 years old. I am a master's student in Freiburg, Germany and I work as a consultant at the German Red Cross. Currently I'm living in Istanbul for one year for studies.

I would describe myself as a quiet person, very clean and tidy, and someone who loves to connect with people and get different perspectives on life.

I enjoy discussing politics, philosophy and sociology. But what I mostly enjoy is cooking dinner for friends and having a nice cold beer while talking about music and plans for the summer :)

I'm looking forward to living in Istanbul and getting to know all the sweet people from all over the world!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling is one of my favourite things to do. Since I'm not too fond of mass tourism for political and environmental reasons, I find this platform a perfect place for genuine and authentic exchange.
