I value minimalism and living in a way that stirs up the inner joy that I believe is our natural state of being. I'm all about loving kindness, enjoying life's simple pleasures, and living in the now as much as possible

I consider death to be my muse, and am working to remain in a state of allowing. Tomorrow is not guaranteed, so I want to live fully everyday, and push myself out of my comfort zone to keep growing. I want to be looking back on my life, grinning ear to ear when I reach the final chapter of my life. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wish to enhance my travels by building genuine connections with people from all walks of life. I hope to do the same with people coming through my town.

There is something to learn from everyone I meet and everywhere I go. I seek this knowledge with gratitude and want to explore this Earth as deeply as possible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a guided storm chasing trip, covering ten states in ten days in pursuit of severe weather. It was so humbling and exhilarating to be in the midst of such powerful, beastly forces. Laughing as I got soaked with rain, energized by insane winds while lightning flashed all around me. That eerily still, green sky...I want to do it again!

Teach, Learn, Share

Spanish and photography are things I can teach.

I like cooking and would like to improve, and learn dishes from the places I travel to. Let's tackle a recipe :)
I would also like to become more "handy" and learn how to fix things, particularly on cars. Wilderness survival skills are also something I want to learn more about. Anything that helps me to become more self-sufficient.

I want to get better at gardening, as well as identifying plants and foraging.
I'm open to just about anything though!
