About Me

A 25 year old, born and bred in Bergen, Norway. Finished up my bachelor in Shipping and Logistics spring 2015, and decided to take a year off to travel and explore the world!

I am curious of nature, outgoing and happy-go-lucky, at least after a cup of coffee in the morning! I am hopelessly in love with the world and all it has to offer, and hope to have many many stories to tell when I am old with wrinkles in all the right places after smiling so much :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will be traveling around the world from January until the end of May. I would love to learn more about the culture in the different countries I visit along the way and not only be a tourist. I think couch surfing is an excellent way to experience the local way of doing things and the best way to learn is to socialize with the wonderful people who lives there!

South-Africa - Namibia - Botswana - Zimbabwe - Tanzania - India - Thailand - Cambodia - Vietnam - Mexico - Cuba

Music, Movies, and Books

I love most books, so it's difficult to pick some. I was however deeply disappointed when I didn't receive a letter from Hogwarts for my 11th birthday, so you could say I was pretty invested in the magical universe of Harry Potter.

My taste in music is schizophrenic, and I will listen to almost anything. Im not very picky, it all depends on what I'm in the mood for

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to Namibia for two months and worked at an animal sanctuary, learned to speak French when I was exchanging in Quebec (unfortunately I haven't practiced much since, and it's a bit rusty) and hopefully I can put climbing Kilimanjaro on this list after feb! Fingers crossed!

What I Can Share with Hosts

A big smile and a bubbly personality, stories from my travels, and maybe some cooking from my country or elsewhere :)
