To experience as much as possible the diversity in ways of living around the world by doing my best to integrate wherever I go. I love doing that by traveling slowly and staying for longer periods of time and learning and sharing life experiences with the people I cross paths with! (:

ABOUT ME

My name is Sandra (31) from the outskirts of Barcelona (Spain) and in a couple weeks I’ll be moving to New Zealand 🇳🇿

Being in Nature wandering, exploring, hiking, or even just marveling myself from its wonders and freezing its beauty in small little frames, is one of my biggest passions.

I am curious, friendly and open-minded and I like to meet new people wherever I go and get involved with local projects too. Learn from the locals, about their cultures, traditions, language(s) and gastronomy (just to mention a few). I love having interesting conversations while sharing a meal.

And I am a firm believer that “strangers are friends you haven’t met yet” and so far, it’s been this way most of the times!

PHILOSOPHY

You only have one live so do whatever you want to do, follow your heart, fall and stand up as many times as needed, enjoy all the little things and even if you don't share ones' opinion, be respectful to them if you wanna be respected back.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been in couchsurfing for such a long time now but haven't been able to either surf (I'm so looking forward to that moment!) or host anyone (as I'm currently living in my mother's apartment).
But used it several times back in 2018 in Iceland to go on day trips with locals and strangers; and I loved it!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

- Living for almost half a year with a lovely local family in Sweden and working at their farm, doing odd jobs, learning from them and the people they were hosting, learning Swedish and falling in love with that life despite it being my first time living abroad.

I can teach you Spanish or Catalan language. I can also give Photography lessons or if you fancy we can do a photoshoot either for you or a project of yours! I would like to learn how to cook food from any other country (veggie if possible!) and I can share my skills on both cooking and baking with you too ! :)
Share adventures, great talks and funny moments and go out for a cold pressed juice, some nice green tea or a beer.
Everything counts!
