About Me

I grew up in a small village next to Sulaimanya.
My father is from Kurdistan Iraq, and my mother is from Iraq too!
I left home when I was 17 to Erbil to pick up ESL and I'm now graduated in English Language aspiring to be a Journalist !
On week ends, I used to teach English in a little Kurdistan city, then became a waiter in a restaurant and now I can enjoy the freedom of travelling!
I lived in Canada 4 months for my TESL diploma program, and recently finished my trip in EU that was one of the most enriching experience of my life !
I got to travel around Germany, France, Spain and Italy and had only a sneak peak at Swaziland (unfortunately!!) but I still drink mate everyday!
I love discovering new places, meeting people and living new experiences.
Important info: always down to dance, hike, discover places and go on adventures!

I am now living in Sulaimanya and Erbil Kurdistan North Iraq, but in the near future I will back to do a master in Journalism and International Affairs or TESOL in Canada.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet local people and backpackers, adventure, and experiences!
When I travel I'm looking for the most authentic experience, I love adventure, so I'm always excited to meet people I don't know.

Interests :

Art: I (try to) paint!
Music: Of course, I love music, and all sorts of different kinds, but I also play the Clarinet and performed in a
Orchestra for several years.
Travelling: I want t travel all over the world, and I already did numerous countries! Literature and writing: When I start a good book, I cant stop anymore, and won't answer you ever.
Dancing: I used to dance a lot and now that I left Geneva, I release all the energy when I go out!

I can offer a host in Ranya and we can show you the following places-
1-Ranya
2-Darband
3-Qaladza
4-Zewa village which has a waterfall and 100 years ago Jewish people used to live in there. In this village I we can use my friend house all days except Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
