Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Kevin and I enjoy traveling and meeting people and believe that's what Couchsurfing provides. I don't believe traveling involves spending time in a hotel room and eating hotel faire. I love to cook and happy to provide a meal and conversation around a dinner table!

Interests

We love to kayak the backwaters of the Mississippi River and collect photographs that we take along the way. We celebrate God's playground and the talents He gave us in music ministry. Gathering around the table with good food, wine and conversation is a favorite pastime. Spending time in our garden and updating our old home is a current project. I am an artist and Kevin loves to play with spreadsheets.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nov 1974 when we magically met in study hall in high school.
My husband would also say hand gliding.
I would say Paris. Paris. Paris.
And we would both agree on Feb. 13, 2010 when we were reunited after 35 years of separation and had a 3 hour lunch....and the magic started all over again.
