Overview
About Me
hello! i am architecture student from new york, who is currently studying in Rome for the semester. i can't host anyone here as the university supplies my room, but i could give tours of monuments and other unsuspecting places where architecture and history combine.
i'm a little quiet at first, but don't mistake this for boredom or lack of things to say! i'll make an effort to be as vibrant as these words surely imply that i am!
i'm an avid cook and a voracious consumer of music. we can swap playlists, recipes, and perhaps bits of writing if you also have a knack for words.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
i won't deny that couchsurfing is much cheaper than hotels or even airbnb. monetarily, this is a viable option for me to explore parts of the world that i have not.
i am also interested in couchsurfing because i am interested in more than just a place to stay. i am interested in people and culture and experiences that are hard to come by through traditional methods of travel.
couchsurfing to me is a more casual, short-term approach to workaway, which i am also on. this is the kind of experience i am hoping to have, one that is mutually beneficial to the host. i hope once i am no longer a student and have a place to myself, to be able to host people as well (most likely in New York, as I plan to move there after my studies)
