Up until this point in my life, I haven't been passionate about my endeavors. I may have realized that a long time ago but didn't choose to do anything about it until now. I don't want to spend my life as a pharmacy technician, in fact, I don't want to spend another minute as a pharm tech and the best time to do something about it is now. Why wait to live life the way you desire to? There's really not a good answer to that question. So two days ago, I quit my job and am now in the works of moving to Oregon in the summer. I've gotten a lot of flack about these decisions, especially from my parents and older folks but I'm a big believer in knowing my own happiness (and also a big believer in YOU knowing YOUR own happiness), so I'm sticking with it because my most passionate inclinations say to do so.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't just want to travel and see the sites, I want to to see life in a different way - gather perspectives and experience the beauty of multi-cultural involvement.

In an immediate sense of this question, I'm travelling to Portland, Oregon to look at houses from the 8th-12th and am looking for a friendly place to stay the nights of the 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th.
