I grew up on a farm in Staffordshire, England. I love being in wide open spaces and the beach, it's where I'm happiest!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

My limited experience of couchsurfing has been the best. I've only done it twice. Both times I had arrived in a new country, feeling a little lost and unsure of where to go and what to do. Warm welcomes from my hosts and general loveliness from themselves and their friends left me with a spring in my step and warmed by the genorosity of (essentially) strangers.

兴趣

My favourite places to be are home home (where I grew up), Up a hill, by water esp the beach (covered in sand) libraries, book shops, Junk shops and cozy pubs.. I hike swim and do a bit of yoga and like to try other new stuff esp in or on the water. I love to draw and paint. Meeting people and exploring familiar and new places.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I always get a thrill from doing a long walk by myself. To say I have walked alone for 3 or 4 days, carried my own food and not got too lost makes me proud!
