CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to explore myself and the world, to stop and smell the roses, to make new friends, to try new things, and above all to have fun in this beautiful world that we live in!

ABOUT ME

I am an outgoing person who loves to meet new people and make new friends. I seriously love to sing and dance and I'm always down to try new things! Im obsessed with yoga and love hiking and other outdoor activities including sports. I love the sun and going to the beach is something I am ALWAYS down to do. I also definitely have my girly side and love to get dressed up for a fun night on the town (I like to think of myself as somewhat of a fashionista:) ). Despite my active lifestyle I also need to take time to just kick back and relax and love to curl up with popcorn and a movie. I am a hard core foodie and love to cook AND to eat, and being a bartender I believe good food is only made better with a great beer, an awesome mixed drink, or a fine wine.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm am still pretty new to CS but I couch surfed while I was in Sao Paolo, Brazil in the fall of 2012 and had a wonderful experience and I am embarking on a journey through Europe this summer and hope the hospitality of the community here will result in many new friends along the way. And when I have a place of my own again maybe I can return the favor!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with a wonderful man named Frix in his apartment in Sao Paolo, Brazil while I was traveling through South America and he really showed how amazing couch surfing can be through his hospitality. He cooked me a traditional Brazilian dish the first night I arrived as well as took me out to a wonderful churrascuria while I was there, an awesome flea market, and a fun night on the town at a hip club! He also had a great knowledge of the city, and gave me a wonderful tour. He really was the ideal host for a first time couch surfer and I really hope I can provide the same experience to others when I return home from my travels.

兴趣

I like to be active and take care of my body. I love to spend time kicking back or going out with my family and friends. Im obsessed with music and love to go to concerts and shows. I love learning and experiencing new places and things, i believe that is what makes life so amazingly beautiful and I am so greatful for all the experiences I've had and all the amazing new ones to come.

Movies I like: The Big Lebowski, LOTR trilogy, pretty much any vampire or zombie movie, and i ESPECIALLY love comedies!!!!

T.V. Shows I like: Avatar the Last Airbender, True Blood, Boardwalk Empire, The Walking Dead, Samurai Champloo, Ugly Americans, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Afro Samurai, Game of Thrones, Shameless.

I love pretty much all types of music!! (Except Country)

Books I like: Loved the Harry Potter Books, A Long Strange Trip, and now that I have graduated from University I have a HUGE list of books I want to read for leisure!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

1. Rode horses around the great pyramids of Egypt!
2. Went scuba diving in Hawaii and saw the sea turtle "cleaning station" where yellow sucker fish would suck the algae off the turtles shells!
3. Watching the man burn at Burning Man in Black Rock City, Nevada
