ABOUT ME

I've just moved to Reading recently for work. I love travelling and I do whenever possible, though these days it's more "work" associated than anything else.

I'm not sure how really to describe myself, so I thought I'd just list some facts that pop into my head and hope they convey a little bit of something about me.

1. I have 2 sisters and a brother, all older and all living in different countries
2. I seem to be a big fan of sports I suck at.
3. I worked as a chalet host in a ski resort after I left school.
4. My accent is completely weird and not really representative of Belfast.
5. I am not a fan of diet coke. Not one bit. Fat coke all the way. Similarly Hellmans heavy, not Hellmans light.
6. I'm a bridesmaid in Sept at the wedding of two friends. All three of us met in 2010 at an Irish bar in Bolivia, where two of us were working.
7. I have a big zig zag scar on my hand from trying to climb a 12ft spiked fence.
8. The previous fact is a decent indicator of my level of sense as well as my enthusiasm for trying things I'm not very good at.
9. I like science. A lot. Particularly immunology.
10. Between pints 2 and 4 I play a decent game of pool. Outwith this window, not so much.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I don't have a couch to have surfers so I'm just up for meeting up with people. Backpackers passing through feel free to give me a shout - you'll give me my travelling fix whilst I'm in-between trips :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only meetups so far - I'm looking forward to having some couch surfers to stay when I actually have a couch to offer!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - Empire Records is my all time favourite. Also many trashy romcoms. And musicals! I love musicals.
Music - LOTS of music. 60's&70's classic rock would probably be my favourite. I like a bit of 80's too though and also dance music - Felix da Housecat, Soulwax etc. Bit of everything really! Oh and pop. Yeah, anything.
