Free spirited soul, who has a desire to travel but in a way that is feasible. I work as an outdoor instructor in Florida for a non-profit called Outward bound. I take Florida at risk youth on 20 day canoeing courses while trying to teach them social and emotional skills they can use in their day to day lives. Since working/exploring in the outdoors I have gotten into flora quite a bit. You can easily catch me on a daily basis trying to learn about several flowers I find or excitedly looking for a community garden near by. studied nutrition in college. Things that make me feel truly myself are backpacking plant identification singing laughing with friends solo adventures eating tons of vegetables and writing poetry.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I currently have big dreams to travel but I have to be economically friendly about it. I am in search of good hearted people who understand where I am coming from and would like to help me make my journeys possible. I believe this will allow me experience places for what they truly are but also have an opportunity to see the goodness in the world.
