Overview
About Me
I grew up in the capital city of Florida, a place known for its winding canopy covered roads and homemade sweet tea. I then moved two and a half hours away from my hometown, for college where I studied Anthropology and Sustainability. I fell in love learning about the way humans interacted with the environment and really began to dig deeper in finding my own connection with mother earth.
I'm currently working with a nonprofit organization in Alabama where I raise money to fund after school and family enrichment programs for at-risk youth. I'm incredibly passionate about what I do!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I haven't been everywhere, but it's on my list.
I want to be able to explore the world and really see what each individual place has to offer, by interacting with the locals and experiencing it through their lens. I want to know what places to avoid that are just tourist traps and where to go instead. I'd love to stay in a home that can provide an exchange of conversation and cultural appreciation for one another, for a fully immersive visit.
I think this is a lovely opportunity to make friends all over the world AND I'm on that nonprofit budget so... :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
On my trip to Colombia, I rode a horse through the Cocora Valley up the Andean mountains. It was my first time riding a horse and it was both the most terrifying and peaceful experience of my life, to date. Ask me about it!
