About Me
Hey all - I'm a postgrad student with very limited summer holidays left before the working life hits, so I'm looking to absolutely make the most of it! So far, my travel has been limited to European ventures, but I'm looking to explore much further this year and broaden my horizons.
I'm a really outgoing person - a fan of all team sports and things fitness, I love to explore and be active as much as possible. But alongside this, I'm also a massive foodie and absolutely love trying new foods and experimenting with cooking and baking - so if you have any local recommendations or delicacies, please bring them my way!
In general, I like meeting new people and hearing about their different stories and the wisdom that they have gathered along the way - and this is why I'm using couchsurfing in an attempt to meet some really interesting people with lots to chat about that I wouldn't get the chance to meet otherwise. I love a good conversation and hope couchsurfing can help make this summer even more memorable with new friends in new places.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm currently planning a summer trip around Canada with a friend and am looking to meet some adventurous people who can introduce us to the beautiful lesser travelled routes and hidden gems that generic tourists don't see/appreciate.

Music, Movies, and Books
A big fan of pretty much all music - I love a good dance and singalong (even if I can't really sing)! Generally into the cheesier variety, but equally love some good RnB, dance and indie stuff. Willing to be introduced to exciting new music and absolutely game for local gigs/jazz nights where possible!
I have an awful habit of falling asleep in films and tend to prefer getting outside and exploring...
Books-wise, I'm a bit of a mixed bag, with a soft spot for the 1920s lost American dream style novels (Hemingway, Fitzgerald), whilst also enjoying a riveting crime/thriller, although I've learned not to read the latter late at night!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Enthusiasm to experience and explore, and take in as much as I can about new destinations.
(ps. I'm a bit of a clean-freak and love to keep things neat)
