About Me

I like interesting people and new experiences. I spent the last couple years doing health education as a peace corps volunteer in Cambodia, then traveling south/ se Asia a bit. I absolutely loved it, and learned soooo much, had my beliefs and views questioned so many timed, a and can't wait to do it again! I'm about to start medical school now. I'm super easy going, and will do just about anything for interesting conversation and good coffee, and I love everyone, especially the weird and unconventional :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling and want to get off the beaten track-- i want to meet local people and see the realities of life in the places I visit! I love love love hearing other people's stories and perspectives, and enjoy being able to learn about the culture of a place firsthand, as well as sharing my culture. I couch surfed in India, and was floored by the generosity of the community. I met so many interesting people, and learned alot- I loved getting to hear my hosts' takes on India, the us, and everything in between!

I can't wait to be able to host and give back and meet more people. I'm hoping once I get into the swing of school I'll be able to host.

Interests

I love to travel and learn about new places and cultures; outdoor and adventure activities; science and health; good books; eating delicious (vegan) food, as well as learning to cook new treats! Surprise me with an interesting factoid and I'll love ya forever.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent two years living in Cambodia, with a local family, trying everything from rice farming to eating dung-beetles.

Teach, Learn, Share
