Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelled quite a lot and lived abroad a few times. I've always loved spontaneous adventure, meeting people from all walks of life and learning about new things. Just got back from a year 'career break' as I'm trying to find more balance in my life so I took some time out to reevaluate things. I'm now planning on getting a camper van and travelling around Europe (and maybe further) with my dogs whilst I develop some project ideas I have. For now, I need to be in England so I'm hoping to have lots of little adventures within the UK until things are in place to travel further afield. Instead of just travelling around and being a tourist I would prefer to meet locals and learn about their lives and enjoy their company. I am particularly interested to meet anyone who has a project which I can help with and learn new skills, anything from permaculture, to building your own house, to mechanics etc (anything really I just love learning)
