About Me

2018 --- After working in the marketing department of the banking industry, I chose to retire from that lifestyle and make a change. I traveled the world for a year in search of my true inner self. This landed me on a farm in Nicaragua for 3 months, where I met my now partner. I have now lived on Ometepe, on a volcano since 2016 with gratitude for every moment. I have since built a homestead, become a farmer, a workshop coordinator for Tribal Gathering in Panama, and, to enjoy family time, I work as a barista in Wisconsin for 3 months out of the year. I am an avid traveler, and like to change my environment up on a regular basis to experience life to my fullest.

2015 --- I'm currently living my dream by traveling the world. I am extremely chill yet outgoing and strive to meet someone new every day. I'm addicted to learning the cultures and attitudes of the world and seeing it through someone else's eyes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

2018 --- My first Couchsurfing experience in Switzerland was as perfect as life's moments can get. I have met beautiful people through Couchsurfing, and find it to be incredibly fulfilling for both parties; the host(s) and the guest(s).

2015 --- I've been traveling solo since February 2015 and have met the most wonderful people. I'm looking to stay with locals to enjoy the true culture and potentially have some adventures off the normal touristy beaten path. But, if you're unable to provide insights and your time, just a couch always works too. The more people I meet and stories I hear, the happier I'll be.

Interests

2018 --- I am up for almost anything in this world. If I have the opportunity to learn or experience something rewarding, I am 100% in. I like to learn new cultures, new perspectives, new activities, new everything...

2015 --- Meditation, volunteering, outdoor sports/staying active, live music, good food and drinks. I am honestly up for doing anything, especially if I've never done it before.

Music, Movies, and Books

2018 --- Live music, yes please. Music festivals, yes please (Tribal Gathering is my home). Pink Floyd, Van Morrison, The Beatles....

2015 --- I love live music, whether it be a jam session or music festival, count me in. I don't watch TV or movies; sorry in advance that I can't hold a conversation of just movie quotes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2018 --- I bought a motorcycle without knowing how to drive it.

2015 --- I got in 5 motorcycle accidents within 5 days in India; I was not the driver. Riding on the back of a motorcycle is still one of my favorites things to do despite all of the accidents.
