Born in the UK but left in 2009 and have been travelling ever since. In my normal, boring tax-paying life I teach English as a foreign language to university students but in my more exciting real life I travel to different places and take photographs of interesting stuff and people. Bucket list includes visiting every continent, floating in the Dead Sea and seeing the aurora borealis. I am very bad at writing biographies about myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first joined Couchsurfing 3 years ago and had some good experiences in the USA, it's always nice to meet people with local knowledge who can tell you about a few places that don't appear in the Lonely Planet guide! I've also hosted in the past and met some lovely people who I'm still in touch with.
