My most memorable experiences traveling have been as a result of random encounters with complete strangers . The best part of my time in New Mexico was an afternoon spent with a man we met on his afternoon walk. Similarly, the best part of my time in North Pennsylvania was with a hay farmer who taught us how to stack hay and live harmoniously with the land despite modern pressures. I want to experience the cities I visit beyond just the tourist attractions (although there will be plenty of that too!)

I love food and will try just about anything. When I'm stressed I bake bread and have a solid flavor and dough down but the crust still needs work...
