I am a 22-year-old student at West Virginia University. I made the decision that there was too much in this world to see to wait until I am older to travel, so I am starting now. I am excited to see the world and I hope to meet as many new friends as possible during my travels.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Whether I am going to be traveling alone or by myself, I like the idea of meeting new people through Couchsurfing.

Interests

I absolutely LOVE the outdoors. I like hiking, kayaking, canoeing, climbing, and even wandering around new places.

I love lakes, beaches, forests, and especially mountains.... basically, any place I can be outside and enjoy the sun.

Some more random things- my favorite color is green, I love dogs, I play lacrosse, concerts are one of my favorite things about the summer and I love meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I probably spend 90% of my waking hours listening to music. Some of my favorite artists are Modest Mouse, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Kooks, Alt-J, Arctic Monkeys, Lana Del Rey, and Cage the Elephant. I love almost all music though, and could spend hours discussing it with anyone.

I am definitely a movie fan. There are so many that I love that I couldn't possible pick a favorite. Although I wasn't asked- my favorite show BY FAR is Game of Thrones... anyone whose seen it could probably agree with me.

One of my favorite books of all time is Water for Elephants. For the longest time I wanted to join the circus because of that book.
I also love the author Harlan Coben. He writes absolutely amazing mysteries!

What I Can Share with Hosts

More than anything, I love getting the opportunity to talk to new people. I love hearing people's stories, especially people that aren't from the same place as me. I am so curious about the world that I love hearing what others have to say. I am always up for new adventures. I hope that I can share my friendship with hosts.
