Currently living in Sevilla to study español. I'm an oceanography student based in Singapore, and I travel to understand myself and the world around me.

I like being active, doing yoga (not professionally or anything though), swimming, climbing, badminton etc! Love listening to live music, especially jazz or blues. Also love hunting down good, nutritious food.

I love rock/metal music, and also indie pop/rock. Favourite singers and bands include Regina Spektor, Avenged Sevenfold, My Chemical Romance, Hozier and the likes.

I love reading. Favourite authors are Chimamanda Ngozi Adiche, Mo Yan, Murakami and Arundhati Roy, among many others.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I sailed from New Zealand to French Polynesia in a tall ship for six weeks, doing oceanographic research in a very remote region of the South Pacific Ocean. Learnt a lot about celestial navigation and the natural environment during that time. Didn't have contact with the outside world for a while. It was amazing.
