I am a native Houstonian. I have lived here most of my life except for college and a couple of years in Oklahoma when I was small. I love movies, music, reading, theater, and travelling. I went to school at Texas A&M at Corpus Christi. I had a great time while I was there and I miss the beach all the time. I live with my college roommate in an area of Houston about halfway on the way to Galveston. I am a nurse, I will be starting a new job soon in the Houston Medical Center. I love what I do, it's a great fit for me and my personality. I am a fun person, albeit a little shy at times. I love new things, new places, and new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I traveled a lot with my family when I was younger, mostly around the US. Now that I am on my own and getting settled in my career I feel like I want to start to travel again. I can be a shy person but I love being out of my comfort zone. I started up with couchsurfing to get to know people all over the world as well as in my home town.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As cliche as it sounds. Graduated nursing school. I love what I do, I am proud to be a nurse. School was really hard. I am grateful for the people who helped me along my journey. Nursing is exciting, fun, interesting, and difficult work and I couldn't have found a better fit for me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am actually back in school. I am working towards my masters degree in nursing. It's just getting started but I really think I will love it.
I am working on my Spanish. I don't know much, enough for basics with my patients and to pick up on the family gossip.
