I love to travel, see new places, practice my bad German and listen to good music. About to embark on a little road trip up the west coast of the United States before visiting Canada :)

Seeing music live is one of my favourite things on earth, along with visiting new places, experiencing all that a foreign culture has to offer, and meeting interesting people along the way.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Seeing how others live lets you experience a new place in such a different way, and I don't want to just go down the same old beaten path that most travellers do. I'm always keen to meet new people, hear their stories and learn about them, their country and culture. As I've never visited the States or Canada before, I'm keen to get a local's insider knowledge, on the best places to see in the short time that we have in each place we go to.

Música, películas y libros

Amélie is up there as one of my favourite films. So is The Intouchables. Foreign films are just great. I also really enjoy New Zealand films (and music), like Boy (if you haven't seen it, you should).

Some of my favourite music includes : The Beatles, Grizzly Bear, Foo Fighters, The Black Keys, Matt Corby, Beirut, Fleet Foxes, Switchfoot, Lucy Rose, Bombay Bicycle Club etc...

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I will be super respectful, helpful, and most certainly be willing to pull my weight in return for you letting us occupy your couch for a night or two!

In return, when you one day make it to New Zealand I will return the favour and host and show you some of the most beautiful spots around. I can take a pretty good photo of you too :)
