One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I hiked up Mount Washington in the winter the weather was really crappy below and once we got above the clouds, it was amazingly sunny and still and the snow formed perfect crystals where the wind and blown it. It was where I fell in love with being outside.

I once watched a bat wake up after sleeping in one of those cage doors that shops have for security. The bat was totally groggy and it climbed along the metal rods and then stretched out its wings and in the same way I would stretch my arms. It was incredible.
