ABOUT ME

I'm a young expat living abroad in Madrid, Spain and I just moved here in September 2012 after graduating from university. I work as an English teacher in a primary school here in the city and am so grateful to have a job that I love.

Interests

I have a wild passion for good books, beautiful art, and the great outdoors. Some of my favorite memories while traveling involve being surrounded by nature and breathtaking landscapes. Traveling is one of my biggest passions and something I intend to make an important part of my life for as long as I live.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to the top of Montjuic in Barcelona was one of the most breathtaking experiences of my life. The views of the Mediterranean sea and the mountains in the distance was just a beautiful combination that I will never, ever forget how amazing it was to just sit there and take it all in.

Another moment that left me awestruck was while I was visiting Paris. I was approached by a young Parisian man who struck up a conversation with me before eventually inviting me for a ride on his Vespa. I remember wanting to pinch myself because I could not believe that there I was, riding on a Vespa with a cute Parisian boy through the streets of Paris. It was spontaneous, unexpected, and completely amazing; just like a scene from a movie. It was only topped off when he later kissed me on a Paris street corner in front of a row of cafes. Honestly, the sort of thing you only see in a Hollywood movie.
