About Me

I am so grateful for the amazing life I've had the opportunity to live. I've learned that less is more and that the most important things in life are not things!

I'm passionate about everything I do and love to help others less fortunate.

I am surrounded by amazing "proper" friends that consider me family and I have a bunch of nieces and nephews from these friendships.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to share my home and make new friends from all parts of the world.

Interests

I love planning for my next trip. When I travel I love staying and going where the locals would go. I love to explore and find great places off the beaten path! Whether it's a hidden gem for great food, live music, wine or great conversation!
I like a simple place where you feel at home and/or part of the family!

This year I would like to:
~Watch the Formula1 car racing in Monaco, France
~Climb the 704 steps of the Eiffel Tower at night in Paris
~Ski in the Swiss Alps in Silvaplana, Switzerland
~Ride my bicycle around in Copenhagen, Denmark
~Take a picture where the two oceans meet at the point of Skagen, Denmark
~Visit a new friend in Stockholm, Sweden

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading so if you see me on my smartphone 9 out of the 10 times Im reading articles about things that interest me or learning something new.

I enjoy listening to live music. I listen to music often at home when I'm cooking or simply enjoying the sunset from my window with a good glass of wine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love watching sunsets and seen quite a few all around the world. Most recently I found that a sunrise is quite amazing to watch!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Spanish. You can learn how to cook some of my favorite Cuban dishes. We can share stories of our travels!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am living in a large studio apartment. This is one large shared room with kitchen, bathroom, dining and living space.

I can offer an air mattress and access to the apartment. I ask that you keep your things organized and clean up after yourself! I am very clean and organized so I expect the same from you. You can cook and use private shower/bathroom.

I don't party or go clubbing, I don't care if you do but don't come home stumbling in here after midnight during the week because I have to go to work and sometimes I work from home. On the weekends, I don't mind if you come home late but no later than 2am. I don't want any drug users or drugs in my home or sloppy drunks.

I am not hosting men so please don't send me requests for stay. I don't mind showing you around Miami if I'm available during your stay. I was born here and I'm a rare native so I know Miami and surrounding cities very well.
