I've been told by friends that I'm authentic, warm and friendly. Generally, as I say above, I'm just interested in living a joyful, creative, wakeful life. I've found lots of ways to do that...why settle on one thing?

PHILOSOPHY

"Before enlightenment, chop wood and carry water. After enlightenment, chop wood and carry water." In other words, every moment of life, whether we are working or playing, deserves our loving, rapt attention!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I finally feel official now that I've surfed AND hosted! Love it both ways. I imagine most people wouldn't come to the small town of Brush to visit or vacation, but it is a perfect stopping point on the way into or out of the Rocky Mountains!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfing with my daughter this summer restored my faith in the human family. I can only hope I'm as good a host as the lovely people who took us in in Oregon and Seattle!
