ABOUT ME

I am currently on a post-University gap-year, and I am trying to see all the places that I would normally never read about or hear about. To be fair, I have no problem with 'the tourist thing'... In my opinion, tourists tend to see new places in a fascinated way that locals overlook sometimes. I don't really mind a little hassle, if it's all in a good cause. I also have no problem dancing the night away, or going for a day-long trek through the mountains (though maybe not both in the same day).

PHILOSOPHY

I'm doing my best to enjoy the journey, and not obsess about the destination.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At this moment I'm cycling from the west coast to south coast of France and I'm trying to meet as many locals as possible so I can truly get to know France! I will happily provide laughter and I'm always up for a great night out, or a quiet night in. I'll do my best to make your day a bit brighter and to make the Couchsurfing experience a fun one!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Lately, I've couch surfed a few times while cycling down the west coast of France, and before that I informally surfed at friends houses when I went to visit them for long weekends :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling through the Balkans by myself; I went to Tibet for two weeks and got to camp under several monasteries; This bike trip!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can make a few kinds of friendship bracelets. I carry a ukulele with me, though I don't play very well. I love letting people try it out and watch them strum a tune on it though!
