ABOUT ME

The latest: I'm taking a break from work & the grind to go travel for a few months. I'm a nurse in Lake Tahoe California, love it here, but need to get my travel fix & meet some good peeps. Will be around Europe for the next few months, but when I get home, would love to have some couch surfers stay with me in Tahoe :)

PHILOSOPHY

The four agreements: "Be impeccable with your word. Don't take anything personally. Don't make assumptions. Always do your best." Others I'd like to add to that are: Live with intention. Treat others the way you would like to be treated. Always say yes (within reason). & dance!

New to couchsurfer. Intend to host peeps in the future when I actually am home & have a nice comfy couch :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfed before, just not on this website. Some while travelling in South America, India, & West Africa. Lots of couch surfing done in Cali & Hawaii. Always leave my door open for friends/aquaintences in need of a roof over their heads.

Interessen

Love live music, hanging out, laughing. Sports I love include rock climbing & surfing. Also love yoga. Can enjoy pretty much any situation with the right company.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Amazing thing, or crazy thing, was to rush to the airport with less than a day's notice to fly to Haiti after the earthquake in 2010. I saw the most heart-breaking, yet uplifting sights of my life. & met the most incredible, real people from all over the world coming together for one common goal. Truly awesome.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I'd love to be able to teach & share with people. & always willing to learn. I guess what I have to offer is skills/knowledge related to some of my hobbies: climbing, backpacking, travelling. I'm a great listener & like to engage in deep conversation, but also love laughter. I'm willing to share my time with those who look for companionship or just a partner in crime for some fun activities. I would like to learn about different cultures from people when I travel. Also I like being exposed to new music, scenes, & experiences.
