ABOUT ME

I'm an American expat currently living in Istanbul. Sounds trite, but it's true. I love living here and I wouldn't trade it for the corporate rat race that I left behind (even for the money I was making). I'm a village girl living in one of the biggest cities in the world. I'm an unapologetic nerd and interested in pretty much everything. I love my life, even with all the chaos, and I love meeting new people. I hope that my love of learning influences people to be just a little bit more curious about the world around them.

I participate by going to CS (Asia) meetings and trying to make people feel welcome and excited about being in my city. I am really excited to (finally, thanks Kaisa!) be participating in CS. I look forward to meeting new people and sharing what I can about this fantastic city.
