CURRENT MISSION

I'm gonna start Travelling in January with my cuz and best friend Mandy. We're 2 Canadians who are looking to have fun and have some crazy adventures!

ABOUT ME

I left Canada in May 2010 with a year long Irish working visa. My best friend Mandy is coming in January and we want to go backpacking for a couple months, then we'll return to Ireland to work for a couple more months. Me and Mandy are both outgoing, laid back people who are always down to try something new and we definately know how to have a good time!

PHILOSOPHY

I go by the saying..your regrets aren't what you did, but what you didn't do!... I like to step out of the box, take risks, and try everything once!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A big issue with travelling for me is obviously money, staying in hostels is fun the money does add up. Couch surfing a great way to meet lots of new people without putting too much of a dent in your wallet. Lots of people are coming to Canada to travel, therefore when I eventually go home I definately want to return the favor and become a host!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never actually couchsurfed before, my roomate recently told me about it and it really took my interest. The closest thing I have done to couchsurfing is wwoofing in Ireland. Wwoofing is the world wide orgainization for organic farming. It's basically volunteering to give a helping hand on a farm. I recently got back from a farm and LOVED it. Meeting the family and adjusting to a totally diffent lifesyle was amazing!

I could make this list huge!...anyways favorite bands gotta be Jane's addiction, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Brian Jonestown Massacre, Metallica, Neil young, Radiohead, basically all that good classic stuff. Gladiator has gotta be my favorite movie and Mad Men my fav TV show.

I got sick of the routine and basically everything back home, so I packed up my bags and came to Ireland by myself and it's been the best thing I've ever done!

I want get emersed in completely different cultures as well as give people an amazing Canadian experience when they come and stay with me! Learning bits of a new language would be amazing too!
