ABOUT ME

Hello! I'm Rachel. I'm down to earth and very friendly and outgoing (to a fault). I will pretty much talk to/befriend anyone that I find interesting. I'm a very creative,kind, passionate, and driven woman. I'm always up for adventure and exploration. I love drinking....and the arts, music, the outdoors,meeting new people, animals, big cities and small towns, writing.....I'm pretty laid back and usually up for anything. (PS. This feels strangely similar to an online dating profile.)

Right now, I'm getting my Master's at NYU in Educational Theater for Colleges and Communities. I really dig exploring how the arts and arts education can change and shape a community. I'm also writing a children's book about some mice. Should be pretty sweet.

Find your passion and go for it. Life is so very precious, and everyone has their own talents and gifts. Find yours and never let it go. Do what you can to make a lasting difference in your community.Love deeply, even if it means being vulnerable. Don't be afraid to be uncomfortable.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

WELL..my old roommate and I hosted a handful of surfers for awhile.I also have a vast amount of experience and knowledge when it comes to sleeping on other people's couches. I've also been to a bunch of CS pot-lucks and provided a mean hummus dip.
